The children will elect alkar spearmen, a commander, a shield bearer, mace bearers, Edek guide, alkar’s squires, chieftain, an alka setter assistant, a Court of Honour, a standard bearer, the standard bearer’s escort, the duke’s adjutant and the recording secretary from among themselves. They will practice moving as an Alka procession in the same order as the real Alka. The Children’s Alka will be run in the yard of the Alka Halls.
