Alkas held outside the town of Sinj
On 1st of March 1832, on the occasion of releasing a citizen of Sinj from prison, Alka was held in Split.
 
Winner the champion was alkar Grgur Lovrić, son of the late Mate.
In the same year Alka was held in honour of that-time Austrian governor in Dalmatia, general Vetter Vjenceslav von Lilienberg (we have no other information). 
In 1922 Alka was held in Belgrade on the occasion of the wedding of Aleksandar Karađorđević, king of the Serbs, Croats and Slovenians, with Romanian princess Mary.
 
Winner the champion was alkar Jozo Tomašević.
On 12th May 1946 Alka was held in Zagreb on the occasion of III Congress of the United Yugoslav Youth Association. Winner the champion was alkar Bruno Vuletić.
 
In 2017, as a gift from Sinj and the Cetina region to the heroic Croatian city of Vukovar, a ceremonial alka was played in Vukovar on the 6th of May. The winner was Ante Zorica.
