Alka ring is made of wrought iron consisting of two rings with a shared centre.
Measuring their inner side, the larger ring has a diameter of 131, 7 mm, and the smaller one of 35, 1 mm. The rings are mutually connected with three bars going from one ring to the other and dividing the space between them into three equal parts. The rings and the bars are 6, 6 mm thick and have a sharp edge at the side which is hit by the spear. The loop for hanging the alka is above the middle of one of three equal arches of the larger ring.
