Almost every street and every part of Sinj has its own children’s alka.

The most famous is the Vučković Children’s Alka, but no less interesting are other children’s alkas in Sinj, such as: Brnaze Alka, Marić Alka, Baljkov Most Alka, Lučka Alka, as well as two other Children’s Alkas at Bazana, then Alka Pelimovac, Alka Borićevac…

Some of the children’s alkas have been held for several decades, and most of them are held after the Alka of Sinj, in the second half of August.

Some children like to boast that their alkas are even older than the Vučković Children’s Alka, some are even run on bikes…But, what they all have in common is that they are held on the model of the Alka of Sinj and that they are run by children who all have the same dream – to become real alkars and to take part in the Big Alka.
